Why one roof helps
Sports injuries rarely need just one kind of care. Your physiotherapist can bring in a kinesiologist for strength work, an RMT for recovery massage or a chiropractor, and everyone works from the same plan.
Should I see a physiotherapist for a sports injury?
A physiotherapist is a good first stop for most sports injuries because they assess the injury, treat it and plan your return to sport. If something else would help, such as massage, chiropractic care or strength training, we can add it under the same roof.
How soon after an injury should I book?
Book as soon as you can. Early assessment helps you know what to do and what to avoid, and it can shorten the time away from your sport.
Do you treat youth athletes?
Yes. Our kinesiology team includes practitioners experienced with youth athletes in injury prevention and active rehabilitation.
Do you offer IMS, dry needling or shockwave therapy for sports injuries?
Yes. IMS and dry needling and shockwave therapy are available when your practitioner thinks they suit your injury.
Can I get sports physiotherapy in Cantonese?
Yes. Several of our physiotherapists speak Cantonese, including Philip Leung, Shireen Ng and Derek Ip.
Is sports physiotherapy covered by insurance?
Physiotherapy is covered by many extended health plans, and we direct bill most of them.
Direct billing, so you pay less at the desk.
We bill ICBC, WorkSafeBC, MSP and most extended health plans directly, including Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life and Green Shield. Bring your policy details to your first visit and we handle the rest. How direct billing works
